First Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist Church located
Northwest of Baton Rouge along beautiful False River.
Scripture tells us Christ reached out to people of all ages, races, and backgrounds. As a church we want to do the same. That's why you'll find ministries geared to various needs and different stages of life. That's why you'll find a place for every member of your family to study the Scriptures, fellowship together, and even be involved in ministry.
In our times of worship, you will find a mixture of music that celebrates our heritage yet appeals to modern audiences. The preaching is both biblically based and applicable to our everyday lives. We have one worship service followed by Bible studies for all ages, and we also offer planned activties on Sunday evenings for the youth. We also offer a traditional worship service on Wednesday mornings for the people of our community.
